LDS Authors Giveaway Hop

2nd Annual LDS Authors Giveaway Hop
Featuring Books Written by LDS Authors
October 8th to 15th

It should come as no shock to you, that I love LDS fiction! I mean, why else would I write it, right? I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon) and often referred to as LDS. As a member of this church, it is a huge part of my life. Not only does it occupy much of my time, it influences everything I do--or at least, I hope it does. Am I perfect? Of course not! Do I do everything the way a member of Christ's church should at all times? Probably not, but I am trying.

I started writing LDS fiction because the LDS church is such an important part of my life. My books do not try to proselytize or preach, but I do hope that in some way they are uplifting and inspiring to the reader. Although my characters are generally LDS, I think anyone of any religion can read and enjoy my books. In fact, if a reader is not a member of the LDS Church, they might gain some understanding of the LDS faith and more so, the LDS culture, because we do have our own unique culture, just like any society or group does. My goal is to write fiction about real, flawed, but good people with honest struggles. I want to prove that LDS fiction can be every bit as intriguing, well-written, and relevant as mainstream fiction. I am working to make LDS fiction as much a part of the canon as Chaim Potok or Flannery O'Connor. I am writing LDS fiction because that is what I want to read.

In honor of the LDS Author Book Hop,
I am giving away the winner's choice of my two LDS novels:
and

Nourish & Strengthen: A Novel
After losing forty pounds, Chloe Taylor is finally happy with her body. What she doesn’t realize is that she’s not the one in control.

When Chloe is called as the Primary president, she discovers that managing the highs and lows of a chronic illness may be easier than the ups and downs associated with family, friends, and church callings. Consumed by her own challenges, Chloe fails to recognize the issues her friends are facing and is in danger of losing their friendship.

As Chloe strives to develop Christ-like love for herself and those around her, she learns that outer appearances are far less important than inner peace and spiritual strength. But is she strong enough to face her most difficult trial yet?

Family Size: A Novel
Jessica loves being the mom of an ever-expanding family, but when an ultrasound throws her a curve, can she adapt with grace?

Dragged away from home, Maya feels deserted by her workaholic husband in a land of confusing accents and church cliques. What will it take to acclimate and save her marriage—or does she even want to?

Sloane is an algebra teacher and runner who would give up both to be a mom, but no matter what she does, pregnancy remains elusive. Can she adjust her thinking and find purpose in her life?

As their lives intertwine, can friendship and faith help these women hurdle expectations of an ideal family size?
