Review: Into the Wind by Donald Carey

Into the Wind by Donald J. Carey

Book Description:

It’s no secret Jordan’s mom doesn’t want him to marry Kehau; she’s already tried to stop their engagement once. But would she really fake a sudden, mysterious illness just to sabotage the wedding?

Kehau thinks she would; Jordan’s not so sure.
The ensuing headwinds are enough to ground their relationship, and threaten to keep it grounded forever.

My Thoughts:

Ever since I read the first book, I have been looking forward to the sequel of Bumpy Landings by Donald J. Carey. Into the Wind moves the story of Jordan and Kahau forward, but their relationship is fraught with troubles. Engagements are difficult at times, and watching this one play out is comedic, tragic, and eventually romantic. With the introduction of a few new characters, I love the development of Vicks and the storyline. Carey does an amazing job telling a fresh and interesting romance, and one that was definitely worth the wait!
