Review: Proposals and Poison by Rachelle J. Christensen

Proposals and Poison (Wedding Planner Series, Book 3) by Rachelle J. Christensen

It's finally here! I enjoyed the first two books in this series so much, I was looking forward to this one. And it was worth the wait.

Book Description:

Love can be a very dangerous thing.

At least it seems that way to Adri Pyper, the premier wedding planner in Sun Valley, Idaho. When one of her clients dies mysteriously, Adri takes the advice of the local detective and swears she will stay out of the investigation . . . this time. Luke Stetson's involvement in the case, along with the possibility of a kiss between the two, should be enough incentive to keep Adri out of trouble. But when a dog-themed wedding is almost ruined by a suspect, Adri and her assistant, Lorea, are thrust into private eye mode. When poison enters the picture, even a reluctant sleuth can’t steer clear of danger.

My Thoughts:

I love a good, clean romance with a touch of suspense, a beautiful setting, and characters I know and care about--and this book has them all! The mystery is fascinating, and watching the growing relationship between Adri and Luke, along with the couples around them, is enough to make your heart fill with hope and butterflies. The silliness of the weddings adds a nice touch of humor, and all of this is set in beautiful Sun Valley, Idaho.

Although Proposals and Poison is the third book in a series, you don't necessarily need to read them in order because the author catches you up on any relevant information. One fabulous aspect of this series is how different each is. Proposals and Poison is a fun, quick read. Try it; you won't be disappointed!

*Perfect for anyone twelve and up. I received a free copy for my honest opinion.
